Michelle Lin, M.S.

Michelle Lin is the founder of Summit Advocacy & Coaching and a dedicated Educational Advocate who combines professional expertise with lived experience to help families navigate the world of special education.

Michelle holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Communication from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She began her career as a middle school guidance counselor in Massachusetts before moving to New Hampshire, where she worked in healthcare supporting newly diagnosed patients with Autism, and coordinating care for Medicaid beneficiaries with complex needs.

Michelle's advocacy efforts have extended to the National level when she was nominated by Dartmouth Health Children's to travel to Capital Hill where she met with law makers to advocate for children's Medicaid and Pediatric residency programs in hospitals. Her personal journey advocating for her own child’s educational and medical needs sparked a deep passion for special education advocacy—and ultimately inspired the creation of Summit Advocacy & Coaching.

As both a professional advocate and a parent, Michelle brings empathy, resourcefulness, insight, and a clear plan forward to every case she takes on. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure that every child has access to an education that meets their unique needs and allows them to thrive.
